China Packaging Research & Testing Center (CPRTC) locates in TEDA Tianjin. Established in 1988, it was initially a cooperating project run by French and Chinese governments. Now it’s a subsidiary company of China National Packaging Corporation. Its total area reaches 40,000 square meters with modern workshops rising, the whole environment is like a beautiful garden. Besides, what made us more proud of is our high technology and advanced equipment. The lab of CPRTC has two parts－Transport Packaging Lab and Lab of Physical & Chemical Performance of Packaging Material. Instruments that were mainly imported from the US, France and Japan, first-class technicians and nearly twenty years’ experience make the lab become the leader in testing technology all around the world.
The lab of CPRTC acquired a CNAL Certificate issued by China National Accreditation Board for Laboratories. Therefore, the test reports and data produced by the lab are recognized by institutes in nearly 50 countries and regions surrounding the Pacific Ocean, including the U.S., Canada, Japan, Korea, Australia and so forth. The lab was also accredited as National Supervision & Inspection Center of Packaging Products Quality by General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the P.R.C. In 2002, it became a certified lab of ISTA (International Safe Transit Association). In 2004, it became a member of ASTM. Till now, it’s certified lab of many world famous organizations and companies, e.g. UL, GE, HP, NCR, etc. Many companies of world TOP 500 and domestic industry-leading companies have stable customer-relation with CPRTC. Recently, CPRTC became the dean member and secretariat of Transportation Committee of China Packaging Federation. The dean of CPRTC is one of its deans. In addition, appointed by ISTA, CPRTC is the exclusive service provider in China.
In nearly 20 years, CPRTC has been developing testing services, at the same time, positively meeting the needs of country and industries by doing scientific research. Relying on many years’ testing experiences, we researched and developed dozens of test instruments widely used in factories, quality testing institutes and school. Especially in recent years, CPRTC, as a leader of packaging industry, set national, industrial and corporate standards almost a hundred. On the behalf of Chinese government, it takes part in the modification of international standards; moreover, offers suggestions to the government in the vote of international standard system. Strict management, scientific operation and strong strength make CPRTC become the leader in package testing industry.
