Lansmont Corporation was founded in 1971 to foster significant advancements in the emerging product and package dynamics testing industry. Over the years it developed the 6 Step Procedure for package development. Today, Lansmont operates multiple facilities, including its headquarters in Monterey California and is recognized globally as the undisputed leader in this specialized industry. Lansmont strives to help customers achieve product improvements, better packaging, increased materials effectiveness, and more efficient transport. Their products are used in a wide range of industries - from basic packaging materials, to bulk commodities, and highly sophisticated electronics and medical devices. Lansmont equipment is applied to many business activities including product and package design, reliability, transportation logistics, and risk management. CPRTC is the primary customer of Lansmont in China. Major equipment in CPRTC labs to test transport packages was bought from Lansmont, which provided many supports to business development of the labs. CPRTC and Lansmont cooperated in many fields such as technology exchange, transport data collection in China, and labs construction, etc. They establish friendly and close relations. In 2006 their cooperation entered a new era, made a great achievement by signing an All-round Cooperation Agreement. From now on, they will deepen the cooperation in mutual recognition of testing reports, lab service, staff training, equipment upgrade and so forth.
